The MCLE deadline is approaching for California attorneys in Compliance Group 3 (N-Z).
See the California State Bar’s MCLE Requirements page for details, including the recently adopted requirement that now includes “at least two hours dealing with elimination of bias. Of the two hours, at least one hour must focus on implicit bias and the promotion of bias-reducing strategies.“
The State Bar’s e-learning portal offers a New Course: Disrupting Implicit Bias. “This is offered free of charge through the State Bar’s e-learning portal and upon completion, you will earn one hour of participatory MCLE credit in elimination of bias for the bias-reducing strategies subtopic.”
Additional options, that may be available for this subtopic, also include West and CEB. See additional information about the new elimination of implicit bias requirement on the Sonoma County Bar Association‘s site.
